Animation for your Web Site
Sometimes, a little movement or interaction is appropriate
for a web site. It could be something as simple as an animated graphic
to attract attention. It may be a billboard or spotlight space with
a rotation of information, like products on sale that week, or news
items. You might like an interactive map. These animations may be
intensive to construct, but the end result is very fulfilling. Flash
animation is an excellent way to interface with your customers,
as it streams to them as they watch, meaning they don't have to
wait for the whole presentation to download in order to view it.
Here are some examples of Flash animations that LightScape
has created for various web sites.
This was an interface we created for Encore Communities. Touch screens were installed at Country Meadows to allow residents to use an interactive concierge service. There are many levels of interaction, from being able to schedule a hair cut, order dinner, reserve a guest loft, or view activities. |

Here are two interactive maps we designed for Pacific Ridge Homes. The first map showed the locations of their various housing communities. Clicking on either the legend or the map locations directed you to that individual community’s site. The second map is an example of the interactive amenities maps we designed for each housing community. When you clicked on any legend icon it revealed all the locations of that particular amenity. Clicking on individual amenities revealed an address and/or web site. The third presentation below required user interaction to move through three questions, and the various related answers. |

These two animations are for NLPS.net and #init 6, inc. They play like movies, giving the viewer information in a linear order, with an option to replay the movie at the end.
